Rules & Delivery ; Use letter symbols and distinguish their different roles in algebra

Rules : Know that algebraic operations follow the same conventions and order as arihmetic operations : use index notation and the index laws

Algebraic Notation

X equals an unknown variable
2x is an algebraic multiplication
Nomenclature where : n+n+n is equal to 3 times n and is written as 3n (without the times, x symbol)
Two variables multiplied together eg: P and Q is therefore displayed as PQ
Display Linear and Non-Linear equations

Rules & Delivery : Simplify and/or Transform algebraic expressions
